10 Naruto Movies that are worth watching

Hi, Everybody (and fellow shinobis), here's my list of movies from the Naruto franchise that I think you should check out. These are ranked based on my opinion of these movies and popularity. So, comment below what your favorite Naruto movie is.

10. Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone Gelel

The second Naruto movie of this list, Naruto, Sakura and Shikamaru discovers a stone and must protect it from evil forces. While the story isn't really that great, Shikamaru, being the underrated character that he is, steals the show and Temujin was such a great character. The animation and action were spot on and the franchise only got better from there.

9. Naruto Shippuden: The Movie

The first movie of the Shippuden anime, the movie has Naruto seeing his own death and must prevent it while protecting a priestess and to help defeat an evil demon and save the world. The animation, comedy and action are very well done and it's worth a watch for Naruto fans.

8. Naruto Shippuden: The Movie- Blood Prison

Blood Prison isn't really a favorite of mine, but it still had pretty good action scenes. Naruto went into sage mode again to fight a powerful enemy even having the help of his friends and allies. With Naruto being framed for a crime he didn't commit, he does everything that he can to find out who actually attempted to kill the Raikage. Blood Prison is not perfect, that doesn't mean that I had fun watching it though.

7. Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow

The first Naruto movie on this list, Team 7 must protect a princess from a group of criminals. She also just so happens to be an actress who is playing a princess in a movie. The action and animation are very fluid with Kakashi doing his most awesome water jutsu technique ever!

6. Naruto Shippuden: The Movie- The Lost Tower

Naruto has transported to the past in the city of Loran and has a chance encounter with Minato, his dad. While there, he helps a princess defeat their enemy to Loran. This was such a great way of Naruto teaming up with Minato, but this was before the Pain arc, where he learns that Minato is in fact his father.

5. Naruto Shippuden: The Movie- Bonds

When the Leaf Village is attacked by mysterious shinobi, Naruto ends up reunited with Sasuke to stop a common enemy. Naruto and the disgraced shinobi fighting the movie's villain was definitely a highlight, which instilled hope that maybe, just maybe that Sasuke could snap out of it.

4. Naruto Shippuden: The Movie- The Will of Fire

This is where the stakes were raised for not only Naruto and the gang but for the entire leaf village and the sand village. This was also a character-focused movie focusing on Kakashi and the relationship with his pupils. When a villain threatens Konoha's political landscape, Karachi goes missing and it's up to Naruto and the others to save him from a grisly end. While the ninja fights are always great to watch, it's the relationship between student and mentor being its highlight.

3. Boruto: Naruto the Movie

Ok, ok, ok. Boruto: Next Generations isn't as good as it can be, although it become better as it kept going but this movie is actually soo damn good. Naruto is now finally the Hokage and is married to Hinata and has 2 children, Boruto included, who is not so interested in being the next Hokage. The leaf village also had MAJOR upgrade and became a modern city. With the chunin exams approaching, Sasuke returns and takes Boruto under his wing as his apprentice. With Momoshiki arriving, Naruto and Sasuke have to work together to stop him and it leads up to one of the greatest fights in the franchise's history.

2. Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie

Naruto and Sakura end up getting under Madara's(SPOILER ALERT: Tobi Uchiha) limited version of his infinite tsukuyomi and are in another reality with polar opposites of their friends, including a version of Sasuke, who never left the village, Naruto's parents being alive and well, Hinata lost her nervousness and wants the D and the Akatsuki became the leaf village's police force. Besides the awesome ninja fights, it's a pretty funny movie with well-known gags from the anime, and it just makes you want to stick around more.

1. The Last: Naruto the Movie

What better way to end off Shipudden and Naruto's journey with a movie revolving around the long-awaited coupling of Naruto and Hinata. As Naruto and the shinobi gang fight moon ninjas(yes, that's a thing, don't ask), Naruto realizes that Hinata adored him all this time and finally returned her feelings and wanting to be with her for the rest of his life. The animation is breathtaking and the shinobi action never disappoints. Plus, that Sasuke entrance was CLEAN. It all ends with a long-awaited kiss with our favorite leaf ninjas.
